Terms & Conditions

for ARTOURS (Loving Italy)

Effective Date: January 19, 2025


1. Booking

A deposit of 30% of the total price of the tour is required upon booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the start of the tour (or 14 days for day trips).

2. Payments

a) The balance payment, which is the total price of the tour minus the deposit already paid, is based on the agreed-upon total price for the specific tour booked.

b) Final Payment Policy: ARTOURS (Loving Italy) reserves the right to adjust remaining balances due to fluctuations in exchange rates and market conditions between the time of initial deposit and the due date of the balance.

c) Payments over 500 euros may require a bank transfer. Clients are responsible for all intermediary bank fees and should add an additional 40 euros for international wire transfers.

3. What the Price Includes

The price includes all services explicitly agreed upon in the tour contract and only those services.

4. Alterations to Your Bookings

a) We strive to make alterations to bookings free of charge; however, any additional costs incurred must be paid in full by you or your agency.

b) ARTOURS (Loving Italy) reserves the right to make changes to published itineraries at their discretion, whenever conditions warrant, or if necessary for comfort, convenience, or safety. They may withdraw any program without penalty.

5. Cancellations

a) Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received 60 days or more prior to departure will incur a 20% forfeiture; those received 59-45 days before will incur a 40% forfeiture; cancellations received 44-21 days before will incur a 60% forfeiture; and cancellations received less than 21 days before will incur an 80% forfeiture. No refunds will be issued for missed tour days.

b) Cancellation terms are subject to each individual operator’s policy. ARTOURS (Loving Italy) assumes no responsibility for cancellations made by clients or tour operators due to circumstances beyond our control.

c) Chefs, Hosts, and Tour operators reserve the right to cancel courses, with liability limited to refunding all money paid.

d) We reserve the right to cancel your tour at any time without compensation where unforeseeable circumstances necessitate cancellation.

e) In case of accommodation cancellation prior to departure, we will make every effort to arrange suitable alternatives.

6. Travel Insurance

a) While travel insurance is not compulsory, we strongly recommend obtaining medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of personal belongings.

b) Clients should review travel insurance policies carefully to ensure they meet individual needs. ARTOURS (Loving Italy) accepts no liability for damage to luggage or personal effects owned by clients.

7. Responsibility and Liability

a) ARTOURS (Loving Italy) acts solely as an intermediary for travel arrangements and does not represent transportation carriers, hotels, or other service providers. All services are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

b) Clients are solely responsible for their baggage and personal effects at all times.

c) Participation in programs requires signing a Registration Form with a Release Form.

d) ARTOURS (Loving Italy) cannot be held liable for illness, bodily harm, death, or discomfort unless directly caused by negligence on our part.

8. Changes

a) Accommodation changes will not occur without client permission. If no suitable accommodation can be arranged, deposits and payments will be refunded.

b) We reserve the right to alter printed itineraries without it being considered a material alteration as long as locations visited remain unchanged.

c) Prices are subject to change at any time.

9. Disputes Governed by Italian Courts

a) Contracts with ARTOURS (Loving Italy) are governed by Italian law; jurisdiction is conferred on Italian courts in case of disputes.

b) Written notice of disputes must be provided within seven days of service provision.

10. Refunds

a) No refunds will be given for unused portions of programs/tours/courses; clients will not be reimbursed for no-shows.

b) Cancellations by clients will be examined on a case-by-case basis according to individual tour terms. Clients may still incur charges even with advance notice if specified in payment terms.

c) ARTOURS (Loving Italy) is not responsible for expenses incurred by clients in preparation for attending programs, including non-refundable tickets or reservations.

d) Reimbursement is limited to amounts paid by clients.

11. Data and Privacy

a) The Loving Italy website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ARTOURS (Loving Italy), its licensors, and suppliers disclaim all express or implied warranties regarding content accuracy or reliability.

b) ARTOURS (Loving Italy), its licensors, suppliers, or third parties mentioned on the site are not liable for damages resulting from data loss or business interruption related to site use.

c) The site may contain links to third-party websites; these links are provided solely for convenience and do not constitute endorsements. Accessing these sites is at your own risk.

d) Information transmitted through the Loving Italy site may pass through various third-party networks beyond our control; ARTOURS (Loving Italy) assumes no liability related to data transmission issues.

e) ARTOURS (Loving Italy) is not responsible for costs incurred from servicing or replacing data or equipment resulting from site use.
