We are a husband and wife team dedicated to custom Italy guided touring.

Scot is an American photographer and designer with a background in real estate and sales: Rina is a an Italian PhD who has traveled all over Europe explaining its history to American tourists. See the about us page for our full story.

Loving Italy won’t hand you off.

Big travel companies, by their very nature, pass you from one agent or guide or driver or helper in every place you visit.

That means you start from scratch….again….every morning with someone who doesn’t know anything about you or your family, interests, etc. or even what you did yesterday.

We will not only be your tour guides, we will be there with you to handle trains, boats, tickets, luggage, food and shopping reservations, translate, and anything else you need….to make it all stess free and easy.

We’ve been to the hospital with a couple of clients (nothing serious, but it’s always scary when you’re abroad), photographed more than one wedding proposal, talked our way into some special visits (and talked our way out of a couple of embarassing situations….but “What happens in Rome, Stays in Rome”….right?)

As we travel together, we will get to know each other better, and the trip will get easier and more enjoyable as you go along.

We are generalists, and like you, we love to read and travel whenever we can. That means that we talk about everything as we tour through Italy – not only ancient history, but current events, food and wine, engineering, music, the history of Italian words, recipes, artists’ biographies, fun trivia….

With us, you will get an unusually authentic and deep look into Italy with a bilingual couple.

So whether you’ve never been to Italy before or it’s one of your favorite places to return to, there is never enough time to do everything you want.

It’s important to get as much as you can from your short time here, and maybe you’ve begun to realize that we can help you do just that.
